Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at a religious procession in Qom, Hojatoleslam Hamid Maleki, deputy head of the Qom Seminary, addressed what he described as indicators of a changing global order and outlined Iran's place within it.
Referring to the withdrawal of American forces from Iraq, Maleki said: "America will pull its hands and feet out of the regions where it has established and demonstrated its influence. When we heard the news of the American withdrawal from Iraq, I recalled the words of our martyred leader. This inspiration was given to that pure, knowledgeable, pious, and sincere man."
Maleki described the isolation of the United States as one of the hallmarks of the shifting global order, saying: "One of the signs of this isolation is that it will withdraw its hands and feet from the world. It brought its warships and its modern aircraft, did everything it could in that 40-day war, and ultimately begged for a ceasefire. The promises made by our martyred Imam are being fulfilled one after another."
On the second indicator, Maleki said: "The West and Europeans created a culture in the world in which the world's people and countries are divided into two categories: domineering and dominated. This culture was created by the West and Europeans, but thanks to the Resistance Front established by the Islamic Republic, this culture is ending and declining."
He added: "The great Imam established this culture of resistance, and our martyred Imam strengthened and expanded it. He said this view — of dividing countries into dominated and domineering — is ending and declining."
On the third indicator, Maleki pointed to the expansion of the Resistance Front: "The Resistance Front began in Iran and was shaped by the late Imam. He said this front is expanding. Look at Iraq, Yemen, the youth of Syria, Lebanon, and many activists in Europe who, God willing, will soon announce their presence — and we will even witness a resistance front in Saudi Arabia."
Maleki continued: "During these 47 years, when the enemy-imposed war from the very first day, sanctioned us, and kept us between war and sanctions, our martyred leader said that in some scientific fields we are the fourth or fifth scientific power in the world. Who believed that Yemen — oppressed and weak — could drive American warships out of the sea? When Saudi Arabia recently begged America to help it in the war against Yemen, it said: 'I fought Yemen once, and I will not fight it again.' We are now witnessing the transfer of power from West to Asia."
On Iran's position in the new global order, Maleki said: "Now that the world is changing, do not worry. America will be isolated, the West will be isolated, and power belongs to the Islamic world. So where is Iran's place? We must strive to secure Iran's worthy position in this new order."
Citing four characteristics the martyred leader attributed to Iran, Maleki said: "In terms of human resources, manpower, talent, and intelligence, Iran is superior to the entire world. In terms of nature and natural capital, it is very rich. The martyred Imam complained here, saying: 'I told these governments and shouted that you should recognize this God-given wealth of Iran; do not fix your eyes so much on others.' This is what he meant by a resistance economy."
Maleki continued: "The third point is Iran's transit position. Iran is connected to the world from the north, south, west, and east, and can have the best transit. Again, the martyred Imam complains here that no matter what I said, the governments did not listen. This country's transit, situated at such a crossroads, must be the best transit. These are the characteristics of this country."
In conclusion, Maleki addressed the martyred leader, citing divine promises: "O martyred Imam, O dear Imam, this nation that rose up has not tired for more than seven months and has remained on the scene. According to the Quranic verse, 'Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves' — meaning, O people, I will not take away the blessing I have given you unless you yourselves give it back. If you appreciate this blessing of the revolution, God will increase it."
He added: "Just as you said, Iran will hold first place, because 'Islam is superior and nothing is superior to it,' and because 'They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even though the disbelievers dislike it.' God, glorified be He, sent the prophets to make Islam prevail over all religions. These are God's promises; these are divine traditions. People of faith, stand firm — and God willing, you will witness victories one after another."
